Lingo: is a Windows application that allows users to create a custom flash-card learning system by defining their own flash-card sets using simple text files. Lingo: can present text, GIF-images and even foreign scripts, special characters and phrases provided they can be coded using the Unicodecharacter set.

Lingo is currently only available as a Windows executable, although I am looking into an Android version for mobile use.

In order to display foreign scripts and diacritic transliteration marks (for tonal languages such as Mandarin or Thai), your system will need to have access to the Arial Unicode font. Windows XP/Vista should come with this font installed, otherwise see:
